Hi my son is 16 and a half and has been diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive type) and would like to trial medication. Myself and his father have just recently separated and his father is very anti any kind of medication my question is does my son have to have his father’s consent to trial medication or can he decide for himself with the help of professional expertise and guidance?
