My 2 and half year old has not hit the milestones at the right time after many tests we told that he global development delay. After battle to get ndis approval we are still waiting. It breaks my heart that son has go through this every day u feel like a bad mother because u can't get right tools to help him.

Hi @Jensen10 I'm really sorry you're going through such a difficult time. It breaks my heart to see how this is making you feel. You have to know you're a good mother, someone who's doing her very best to get her son the support he needs. I'm sorry it has been challenging dealing with NDIS. Sometimes the bureaucracy of big organisations can be very difficult to deal with. Hopefully it won't be too long before you start getting the NDIS support. It sounds like you got approved which is great, congratulations for making it through that.

 

How are you looking after yourself during this time? Do you have any supports around you?
