My friend's mum has all the custody over his son's health etc, so he can't take him to a GP, but I guess he can ask his own.  My friend is concerned about the fact that his son is afraid to talk to his own dad.  It sounds like he would get in trouble with them if he does, which is really unhealthy and concerning (controlling?).         ...
