Discussion forum for parents in Australia

I didn't feel any pressure from my parents at all. I never had a curfew and they never said I couldn't do anything. I think cause they knew I was sensible and wouldn't get into any trouble. My daughter did a lot of the same things you did, except for being kicked out of home. That must of been really hard for you.

That's awesome! They clearly trusted you to be sensible @Zoesplace.
I'm certainly very happy that my daughter is at home and knows whatever happens we'll find a way to work it out. As with your daughter, having a solid foundation (home and parents) certainly plays in their favour. My mu couldn't cope and my dad couldn't cope with mum not coping. Parenting can be so tough, so I don't hold it against them and we're close now. They did the best they could with what they had. That's all that can be asked, don't you think?
Well that's another Ab Fab Friday! Thanks so much for joining in @Zoesplace
