Re: Wanting to help my teen son who I think has anxiety

Caz01 we had a really good chat today about being introverted. I was telling him about empaths and how they have special gifts. He was identifying himself as an introvert which I thought was helpful for him. I told him that introverts often feel different from others because they love being by themselves to recharge. Hes doing pretty good at the moment. I think hes trying to find himself if that makes sense. Its hard when most of the other boys like partying and playing footy. But hes gonna be okay I think.

Hi Hippy Chic , good to hear he is doing well. You sound very supportive of him. Nothing wrong with not partying or playing footy he will find something he enjoys. There is so much pressure for kids to be like everyone else but friends have told me the individual quirky kids fit in great at uni or work.
