My kids are in their last years of high school and I find it difficult to help them with career advice as I'm not 100% sure of what all their options are. I know there's more options than just university but it's hard to find information about them, and their school career advisor doesn't seem to tell them about anything else other than uni.
I was wondering if anyone else struggles with this? I want to help them find something that they will enjoy but I want to make sure it's also going to be a safe bet for them, I just don't know where to start.

Hi @schmakem and welcome to the forums.
It is hard to know how to guide our young people when they're heading towards finishing school.
There are quite a few helpful resources online by Headspace, Raising Children Network and Your Career that might be a helpful starting point.
All the best with it and good luck to your young people as they work out what they want to do in the next stages of their lives.
It looks like you’re visiting us from a country other than Australia.
We are an Australian service and think you’d benefit more from looking up a similar service in your country.
You are welcome to look around the forums, but please don’t make an account or post, as we can’t offer you the help you may need.
Before you go ahead and post, you should know that we remove non-Australian accounts – not because we don’t want to help or connect with you, but because we may not be able to provide you with the service that you require.
