Hi all My 4.5 year old. Brushing teeth - she doesn’t say no but keeps adding different preconditions to it such as “let me ask Mommy something” and “let me finish talking, you’re not listening to me”. I try to let her do these tasks before brushing teeth but often they seem never ending, just a way to try to avoid brushing her teeth. She will then say how i can’t speed it up, only she can. 1. Is this normal? 2. Any advice offered? 3. I used to brush her teeth for her and let her watch cartoons while I do. Shall I revert back to this? Why not?
