ReachOut Parents and Carers Community Closure

Dear parents and carers,

We want to let you know that we have made the decision to close the ReachOut Parents and Carers community on the 25th of November 2024. We thank you all for your contributions over the years. 

While the community will be closed from this date and you will not be able to access posts, you may be interested in continuing to use other services. Some alternative supports may include:

• Other peer support forums for parents and carers, such as Carer Gateway Forums for carers or Kids Helpline’s My Circle for parents
• Beyond Blue forums for peer mental health support for yourself
• Parentline in each state and territory for parenting advice
• Family Relationships Advice Line for advice on relationships, separation and parenting arrangements

ReachOut also provides a 1-1 parent and carer coaching service via Zoom or phone, in which parents and carers can receive up to four free sessions for help on supporting their teen. ReachOut also has a new Instagram page sharing resources for parents.
