Threats to hurtself

Hi my son has threatened to harm himself not to me but his girlfriend they have been arguing apparently I asked him and he said his fine, standard teenage response, I don't know what to do I told him if he feels that way we need to go to a Dr he said no his fine

Thank you for coming here to get some help with this   It must be scary for you knowing that your son is feeling that way. It's really good that you spoke about what needs to happen if he feels like he wants to harm himself. Do you think it would help for you to link yourself in with a family support worker who might be able to help you with how to approach this?
