Advice on getting more time

Hope this is ok to ask on here as i haven't been through this

Asking for some advice for a friend as he doesn't know what to do or who to speak to.

He has a daughter with his ex and works FIFO. When he is home, he is constantly asking to set up days and times to see his daughter but is constantly stuff around. She ofter leaves it to the very last minute and then says well where are you etc. He is already paying her phone bill so he can talk to the daughter when he is away but she sometimes blocks the number. i know he is paying child support as well but into her bank account with the description of child support..What would be his best options going forward.

Re: Advice on getting more time

Hi @Advice123

Thank you for reaching out on the forum.

Co-parenting through separation can be a really complicated process. It's nice of you to look into support services for your friend. Here are a few helpful services that your friend can contact for information and support.

  • MensLine Australia - 1300 78 99 78
  • Family Relationship Advice Line - 1800 050 321
  • Legal aid in your local area.

Hope that helps!
