Hi Birdwings, Thankyou for reaching out.....I guess the hardest thing I have to deal with apart from everything else is the date he committed suicide...it was our daughters 14th birthday so every year will be that constant reminder....my brother in law blames me for it and refuses to talk to me now.....all my family are over 2000 kms away in South Australia but I have made some lovely friends but no one extremely close so just taking everything day by day and see how we go ... Husband suicide

Hi my husband suicided on our daughters birthday in February this year in her bedroom....it was domestic violence related....myself and my 14 year old daughter have been struggling ever since....she attempted suicide 6 weeks ago, she's refusing school and just has no motivation.....she pretty much is refusing to leave the house or sometimes even her bed (we are in crisis housing- not the house where he overdosed) I'm finding it really hard to motivate her to do anything and just would like some advice... ...
