If a parent wants the child ( teen) get accessed for Mental health assessment due to multiple experiences of non cohesive  behavior verbal and physical attacks via "Hospital and Health Service " the child has to agree to be seen? without that nothing happens What if the child is refusing that they have mental health issue? Worst if you mention the need to get accessed that becomes a trigger to another outburst there is no mandatory system Except, Parents have to wait fora outburst incident, call the AMBOs ( with police attached) and Request a Mental Health Assessment Then the ambo ( who has mental health clinicians attached at call center ) may or may not take the child to ED mental health, if they do then so in other words a parent has to wait till something goes really bad 9 How lopsided is the law? against parents       ... I need real tangible assistance, how to get him into some sort of accommodation or group home or something so he can maybe be.... I just read following from a  concern mom and have same question.. "I get up at 2.30am with my heart pounding and start reading tons of articles about how to improve the situation. The more I read, the more I realize how many mistakes I made: nagging, asking her to clean her room (instead of just picking up her clothes from the floor myself when she wasn't home), remining about the college process, asking to stay off the phone after 11pm, asking to follow up with the college swim coaches, suggesting she eats helthy, etc etc. I could have avoided this heart-ache for everyone if I just left her alone and let her live/do as she pleases. Does anybody have this experience You take your child to a psychologist via GP referral for all the typical 14-16 meltdown bad behavior related issues Then psychologist says he can't talk to you about your child condition unless the child agrees? What you do when the child in anger does not agree Worst the child uses the psychologist comments like " oh you are 15 now and will have opinions... and tells you off!
