You may have heard that 13 Reasons Why is releasing the second season this week.
The first season caused a lot of concern and distress from parents, and we had a chat over here about it on the forums.
After the conversation and controversy the first Season sparked, the show has partnered with mental health organisations to provide support and resources. These will hopefully be especially helpful to parents of teens who are wanting to know how to navigate the heavy content of the show -
These will be available here from Friday onwards.
The show contains very heavy and sensitive content, which was triggering and highly distressing for some people.
However, it also generated important conversation and discussion around getting help for mental health problems.
What are your thoughts or concerns on this?

Really great guide, this show definitely can be confronting to young people. @gina-Ro
It looks like you’re visiting us from a country other than Australia.
We are an Australian service and think you’d benefit more from looking up a similar service in your country.
You are welcome to look around the forums, but please don’t make an account or post, as we can’t offer you the help you may need.
Before you go ahead and post, you should know that we remove non-Australian accounts – not because we don’t want to help or connect with you, but because we may not be able to provide you with the service that you require.
