I booked the lowest cost airfare about 4 weeks in advance, Perth to Adelaide return.
True North pick them up at the gate at the airport. You have a 2 hour window to get them there. Turns out the only morning flight Perth to Adelaide arrives right in the middle of the time. Fortunately our son has travelled a lot with us, so he is happy to travel unaccompanied.
In the few days before he went, I was wracking my brain how to get him there if he refused. No disrespect, but one idea as to fly with him, and if he was difficult or abusive, advise the cabin staff he had Tourette's and was going to Adelaide to see a specialist!!
Using all my points up, the airfare cost was $160.
So despite not having the same resource is WA, having it in SA did not make a lot of difference.

Hey guys, I've had to edit this thread a bit to bring it back in line with our guidelines. Which you can read here.
The specific guideline it relates to is:
We have restrictions around linking to outside websites without ReachOut's approval first, even sites that provide services to parents and young people. There are a number of reasons why we do this, all of which come from our years of experience managing a peer support community.
If, like this situation, you are wanting to share contact details for a resource, please feel free to just tag me in a post so I can provide help. It's not about stopping info being shared just making sure the process meets best practice principles.
Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have. Thanks!

Sorry @Ngaio-RO, was actually going to get on here to edit some of that as I read the rules last night and had realised had breached them!

No worries at all @Designed It happens all the time.
Please feel free to flick me an email on forums@reachout.com if there's ever anything you'd like to link to
and if you're posting outside of office hours you can either tag @Breez-RO or @TOM-RO and ask them.
When it comes to editing your own replies or posts. Here's how:
First, click on the three white dots in the top right corner.
That gives you a drop down menu - select edit reply or edit message
That will open your post on the usual post writing page. Make any edits and then click on post.
Please let me know if you can't take those steps when logged-in because it means there's something wrong with your account.

Yes editing from a laptop is no problem. Editing from my mobile (preferred) is tricky. Works, but then comes up with nspb or amp's everywhere throughout the text! Is there a way to solve this on a mobile? Thanks @Ngaio-RO

Unfortunately not @Designed Although I've raised it with our development team who will take it to people who build the software.
Basically, the program isn't really designed for mobiles and although it doesn't matter for most things, it does for some. We are working towards a completely 'compatible' future but it's still a while off.
But thanks for letting me know. I never use the forums with my phone so I miss a lot of this stuff.

Our son comes back today from his Adventure Therapy program.
Pick up at the airport in the afternoon. Lots of mental preparation at home for all of us.
The first hour, day week will be very interesting.
So far we have had short email messages in the last 3 days that show a positive turn of events.

It looks like you’re visiting us from a country other than Australia.
We are an Australian service and think you’d benefit more from looking up a similar service in your country.
You are welcome to look around the forums, but please don’t make an account or post, as we can’t offer you the help you may need.
Before you go ahead and post, you should know that we remove non-Australian accounts – not because we don’t want to help or connect with you, but because we may not be able to provide you with the service that you require.
