Re: Yoga - Active Topic!

Hey @Red21,

I've joined the gym so doing a combo of weights, yoga, tai chi and meditation. My first yoga class had me so sore the next day and I had to miss that days class lol! My legs need strengthening!!

I do love it though, and find that I have heaps more energy and motivation after doing weights or attending a class. The days I don't go, energy levels drop as does my mood. So I see the benefits for sure! A yoga retreat would be awesome - once I'm fit enough!

Re: Yoga - Active Topic!

I have long wanted to try yoga. While I'm only engaged in fitness. Can have some tips for beginners?

Absolutely @taokat

energy levels increase with yoga

i have not done for two weeks due to family needs

as we are aware do dampen passions and our own needs

yet only for the necessities

priorities are just that

yet

lat night the best class

FEELING

what is real for me

listening to my body

JOY of the cellular memory partying inside

my mind alive with thoughts of health

and o be short here today as my children go to shared care,

first time in 3 weeks

and i promise my whole that i will

prioritise a cleanse of my whole self and house

lol

Re: Yoga - Active Topic!

@Torry_Cox

hi beautiful

tell me

do u go to a yoga class

or r u a home practitioner

different tips

yet

lets be real

the best yoga

is the last yoga u did

mine often is the in breathe

and the out

the receiving and the giving

the comings and the goings

especially the goings

the letting go

of what is for others

and the coming closer to what is real

for me

it is an individual practice

yet we are same

our breathe is our fuel

for our mind body and soul

breathe in love and let go of everything else

thats my best practice

so now off to yoga

to do just that and also

to acknowledge the journey taken to the moment that we acknowledge as yoga

knowing that we are perpetual in yoga

yet

priority to the time to acknowledge

accept

and let go

moment by moment

breathe by breathe

step by step

day by day

yoga

union

harmony

being the love that you are x

Re: Yoga - Active Topic!

It's been a week for me too now. It was getting to me, my body was really craving some exercise, so I did a weights workout at the gym. Yoga class times have clashed, but this week my Dad's home again from having a stent put in his aorta, and my daughter is feeling well again too.

I'm taking time for me again this week!

Re: Yoga - Active Topic!

It's funny @Red21, I used to feel so guilty about taking me time, and now I really notice it when I haven't!

It's great to hear you're Yoga'ing again! Smiley Happy
